Welcome to the Newington College Sesquicentenary Insite. Since 1863, Newington has been one of Australia’s leading educational institutions for boys. In 2013 the College community took a year to reflect upon 150 years of history and tradition. This site was the hub of our sesquicentenary celebrations, with information and news, as well as a place to look back at some of the many highlights of our wonderful College.

This two minute film opened our celebrations at the beginning of 2013 and was used at all our Sesquicentenary events. It captures the feeling of pride we share in the vision of our Founders and the exciting future ahead for Newington as a leader in Australian boy’s education.

The College has been incredibly fortunate to have had the support of a very talented Sesquicentenary Committee. Click here to read a message from the Chairman of the Committee, Old Boy Rod Bosman.
