Newington Boarding House
Boarding has been at the heart of Newington College for a very long time. Newington boarders benefit from close access to all of the College’s state-of-the-art facilities, with the extra support of other boarders and staff who make up the ‘Boarding Family’.
The Edmund Webb Boarding House is located behind our preparatory school, Wyvern House in the quiet suburb of Stanmore in Sydney’s Inner West. It is close to public transport and only a short bus or train trip to Sydney’s CBD.
More than just classmates, the boarders are a diverse group of boys from a range of backgrounds – from country boys and international students, to those living on the outskirts of metropolitan Sydney. It is this dynamic and close-knit community that makes Boarding at Newington a unique and rewarding experience.
